RICHLAND, Miss. (AP) -- Bail has been lowered to $500,000 for a Richland woman accused of killing her boyfriend.
Police say 26-year-old Lisa Prince is charged with murder in the weekend stabbing death of Roderick Burns. She's at the Rankin County Detention Center.
Judge Richard Redford lowered Prince's $1 million bond Wednesday during her arraignment in Richland Municipal Court. A grand jury will review the case.
Richland Police Chief Russel James said Burns was stabbed in the chest and thigh.
James said Burns was sitting in a pickup when he was stabbed through the passenger window about 2:00 a.m. Saturday.
