MEMPHIS, TN -- Memphis police say a “person of interest” in the case of a University of Memphis student who was shot to death at a library parking lot is in custody.

Police say Tederrial Hancock, 19, was shot to death while sitting inside a white Honda in the parking lot of the Hollywood Library sometime around 9:10 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Witnesses told investigators they saw two men, wearing white shirts and black pants, possibly running from the crime scene.

Memphis police spokesperson Karen Rudolph says investigators do have a person of interest in custody. However no charges have been filed in this case.
