Orlando, FL - Police say Tiger Woods has been seriously hurt in a car accident in Florida.

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol says the PGA star hit a fire hydrant and tree as he pulled out of his driveway early Friday, November 27, 2009 in his 2009 Cadillac SUV.

Woods was taken to the hospital.  His condition isn't known yet, but the hospital says his injuries are serious.

The highway patrol says the crash is still under investigation and don't know yet if someone will be charged.

Investigators say the crash is not alcohol-related.
