MEMPHIS, TN - Three people have been charged in a home burglary that occurred on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 in Cordova.

Investigators say Ashley Humble, 25, of Byhalia, Mississippi was visiting her friend, Ali Jaffri, at his house in the 7200 block of Grapetree Trail. During her visit, two of Humble's friends entered an unlocked back door of the home.

Suspects Shannon Borman, 28, and Edward Chalmers, 34, blindfolded and beat Jaffri. After they tied the victim to a chair, the suspects robbed him. They used Jaffri's ATM card at several bank machines.

Jaffri eventually freed himself and called authorities from a neighbor's house.

Humble was charged with kidnapping and robbery. Chalmer and Borman were charged with kidnapping, burglary and robbery.
