MEMPHIS - Just five months after introducing the community to its signature soups, breads and salads, "Panera Bread" is opening its second bakery café in East Memphis' Laurelwood Shopping Center.
"We've been thrilled with the Memphis area's response to Panera," said Adam Jackson, Director of Finance and Development for Delta Dough, the franchisee that brought Panera to the Mid-South. "Memphis is such a friendly community, and we're happy that our new friends find comfort in our sandwiches, our pastries the entire Panera experience. We are looking forward to getting to know our East Memphis neighbors."
In addition to the Laurelwood location, "Panera" also operates a bakery cafe in the Trinity Commons Shopping Center in Cordova and plans to open 10 more during the next five years.
