DESOTO COUNTY, MS--Police are searching for a missing college student from Horn Lake, Mississippi.
21-year-old Steven McGehee is a freshman at the University of Southern Mississippi. His roommate reported him missing. He last had contact with McGehee via text message last Friday, November 6th.
University of Southern Mississippi police say they're concerned that McGehee may hurt himself. They say he may be in the DeSoto County area, or near Bruce, Mississippi, located in Calhoun County in North Mississippi. He drives a red 2001 Ford Escort with DeSoto County license plate DCP-744.
Anyone with information about McGehee or his whereabouts are asked to call Southern Miss Police at (601) 266-4986 or their local law enforcement agency.
