MEMPIHS, TN – Memphis police say a woman was shot and killed during an argument between two men.
It happened in the 2700 block of Browning, Tuesday, June 30, 2009, around 11:00 p.m.
According to investigators, witnesses told officers 35 year-old Michael Waddell was arguing with another man when the shooting happened. The witnesses said 24 year-old Shelia Harris started walking toward the men when Waddell turned and shot her.
Police say Harris was already dead when paramedics arrived at the scene.
Michael Waddell was arrested at the Bellevue Inn on Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Waddell has been charged with second degree murder.
