GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) -- Police say multiple counts of sexual battery and molestation filed against a Gulfport man involve a 12-year-old girl.
The Sun Herald reports that 37-year-old John Dudley Lamm II was arrested on Tuesday and charged with five sexual battery counts and two molestation counts.
Police Sgt. Chris Ryle said the incidents were reported to have occurred between June and October.
Justice Court Judge Melvin Ray ordered a $70,000 bond, $10,000 per charge.
Sexual battery is punishable by up to 30 years for a first offense. Molestation is punishable by up to 15 years per count.
It wasn't immediately clear if Lamm has an attorney.
