COLLIERVILLE, TN - A 19 year-old man is in jail, accused of attacking a Collierville teenager. Cops say it all started with some sort of argument during the early morning hours of June 14, 2009.
Thomas Hinson is charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.
Collierville police say Hinson and several others were at a party in Memphis when one of the teens made a phone call to 17 year-old Grayson Hinte in Collierville. Cops say the group decided to go confront Hinte and that some of the guys in the group got into an argument with the 17 year-old.
Police say Hinson was not part of that fight, but that he hit the victim on the back of the head with some sort of object.
Hinte was taken to the hospital in critical condition but was later released.
