UNION CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- A Mississippi River towboat crewman has agreed to return to Florida and Arkansas to face child sex charges.
The Obion County Circuit Court Clerk's office said 36 year-old John Albright waived extradition Thursday, agreeing to be returned to Orlando, Florida, where he is accused of lewd acts with a minor. He also agreed to face felony rape charges involving a 13 year-old girl in Garland County, Arkansas
Obion County Sheriff Jerry Vastbinder told WYVY radio in Union City that Albright had been working on tow boats and was staying with a family near Kenton when he was arrested.
