LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is offering defensive driving classes on the second Saturday of each month.
The first of the AARP-sponsored classes is July 11. The cost is $14, or $12 for AARP members.
The classes are held at UAMS' Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging on the ground floor in Room G190. The classes are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
UAMS says drivers 55 and older who complete the course will qualify for a discount on their auto insurance.
