Woman Raped and Robbed At Her Cordova Apartment MEMPHIS, TN – Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies continue their search for a man who raped and robbed a woman at her Cordova apartment last weekend. It happened last Saturday afternoon (June 27).
The woman told investigators she had just returned from running errands and was surprised by a man standing in the living room of her apartment near Houston Levee and Macon. The front door had been left unlocked.
The suspect, a white man who stood about 6 feet tall, wore a “Ninja” style mask. After raping the woman, the suspect took her cell phone and credit cards.
Sheriff’s detectives say no other rapes have happened in the area and it is the first case of its type involving a suspect who wore a “Ninja” mask.
