MEMPHIS, TN – Officials at the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office say a convicted criminal’s personal property will be auctioned to the highest bidders.
According to a D.A. spokesperson, Perry Belcher pleaded guilty to Computer Crimes Over $60,000. Detectives say Belcher was arrested in Lakeland after an investigation into complaints that he was selling products that he claimed would treat many medical problems.
The investigation was comprised of several law enforcement agencies, including the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, the FDA, the United States Postal Inspector and the Tennessee Department of Revenue.
An Open House for the auction will be held Friday, March 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 11676 Stone Meadow in Eads, TN. The D.A.’s office says the auction will begin at 11:00 a.m., March 7th.
