DESOTO COUNTY, MS – A grand opening will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2010, for a Census office in Horn Lake, MS. The office will lead testing for mass recruiting efforts, and offer hundreds of temporary jobs.
Organizers stress that Wednesday’s event is NOT a job fair. If you’re interested in applying for a job with the U.S. Census Bureau, you’re encouraged to call 866-861-2010 to schedule an appointment.
The Horn Lake location is the fourth such office in Mississippi. It’s located at 6550 Interstate Drive, Suite 107, Horn Lake, MS.
A Shelby County area Census office will open next Tuesday, January 12, in Cordova. That office will be located at 8195 Dexter Road, Suite 110, Cordova.
