MEMPHIS, TN-- There's new information on that house fire in South Memphis that has now cost the lives of two young boys.

The medical examiner's office tells us the autopsy for three year-old Ladareon Dunn has been completed, but lab results still aren't finalized. They expect to know next week the official cause of Ladereon's death.

Meanwhile, the death of Ladereon's two year-old brother is renewing anger against the childrens' mother and aunt.

The district attorney's office is still saying it will wait until this investigation is completed to file charges. Along with the cause of death for these two boys, the D.A. is waiting to learn the cause of the fire, but neighbors don't want to wait for anything. They want someone to serve time in prison now.

It's hard for Esther Torrence to even talk about the fire that took the lives of two little boys on her street.

3 year-old Ladereon Dunn died last Monday, the day of the fire. For a week, his brother Catereon fought for his life. The two year-old died late yesterday at Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center.

“Me and my sister had just put a teddy bear up yesterday so just to hear the news about it, I'm going to take another teddy bear down there and put it up for the baby also” says Torrence.

As these neighbors are sorry for the children, they're fuming with the boys' mother Melanie Dunn.
She and aunt Marilyn Wilson said they left the kids at home alone to go shopping.

“I have children myself and it hits me hard” says Elton Hale. “Leaving them at home is just something that I wouldn't do.”

“It was just irresponsible. It could've been handled so much better, in a way better fashion” says Torrence.

Firefighters told us last week that the fire started in the back bedroom of Melanie Dunn's home. That's the room where the two boys had been staying.

The children's aunt Marilyn Wilson is still behind bars. Wilson was arrested last week, but not for anything having to do with this case. She was picked up by police for failing to appear in court for a 2006 theft charge and driving on a suspended license.
