SEWANEE, Tenn. (AP) -- Two University of the South students were killed and two others injured when their car collided with a tractor-trailer near the campus at Sewanee in southeastern Tennessee.
A Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman said 19-year-old Kathryn "Katie" Christianson of Chattanooga and 18-year-old Kathleen Beech of Clarksville were killed in the Thursday morning crash at the intersection of US41A and Airport Road in Franklin County.
Two other passengers in the car were taken to a Chattanooga hospital in stable condition.
