JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- Authorities have identified two teenage brothers killed in a one-car crash in Jackson.
Officials say 19-year-old Demonta Williams and 18-year-old Cornelius Williams were killed around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday when their vehicle crashed into a tree near Lexington Avenue.
Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart says the teens died at the scene of blunt-force trauma. She said neither was wearing a seat belt. Cornelius Williams was the driver.
Two passengers, John McMillan and Daniel Holmes, were taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Hospital officials say McMillan was listed in critical condition Thursday and Holmes was in fair condition.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
