SOUTHAVEN, MS – Southaven police say a teenager is dead after he was run over by a friend in an accident.
It happened at the Southcrest Apartments, Tuesday afternoon, June 2, 2009.
According to investigators, a teen girl asked her friend if he wanted a ride. Police say the boy jumped on the hood of the car, but lost his balance as the car started moving. The boy fell off the car and was run over before the girl could stop it, investigators said.
Kao Salee, 18, died Wednesday morning at The MED.
Southaven police say the situation is still under investigation.
