Somerville, TN - The Fayette County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting in Somverville. On March 4, 2009 at about 1:08 a.m. people in the 200 block of Stuart Loop called the department after hearing shots in the area.
When deputies got there, they found a car stopped in the middle of Stuart Loop. They found Mr. Morquill McNeal behind the wheel. He was dead. Deputies say it looked like he'd been shot in the head.
The 28 year-old man lives in Somerville. Investigators say that, right now, it looks like a homicide. They are following leads, but no one has been arrested for the crime.
