Felicia is in foster care, but hopes to someday be adopted. She spent some time with ABC 24 and CW 30 to let us know a little about her, in hopes of finding what folks in the foster care system call a "forever family."
Felicia is 15 years old and is in the 9th grade. She says her favorite thing about school is the friends she makes there; She makes friends very easily. In a new school this year, Felicia says she already has plenty of new friends to add to her old circle of friends she already knew.
Singing, dancing, and art are favorite past-times for this young woman. She says someday she'd like to be a teacher, and hopes to be a good influence on younger children; she hopes to teach 2nd grade. Her musical tastes range from Beyonce to Hannah Montana.
Felicia likes sports, and plans to re-join the track team. After switching schools this year, she missed the try-outs for the track team, but plans to go out for it in the next school year. "I didn't do the hurdles," Felicia told us, "I do the long jump."
