New York, NY -- Former Memphis Tigers point guard Tyreke Evans says he'll realize his life long dream when he hears his name called Thursday night during the NBA Draft.
Evans is projected to go as high as the number two overall pick. In fact, Grizzlies GM Chris Wallace says the team has narrowed their choice at number two down to four players including Evans, Spaniard Ricky Rubio and former NCAA players Hasheem Thabeet from UConn and Stephen Curry of Davidson.
Evans says he would love to play professionally in the same city he played his only year of college basketball. To hear from Evans click on the video player to the right.
