Memphis Natives Help U19 Team USA Beat France

AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND -- Two Memphis natives continue to do their share of the load on the basketball court for USA basketball.

Craigmont graduate and Ole Miss Rebels guard Terrico White, and Arnette Moultrie, a former Raleigh-Egypt standout and current University of Texas-El Paso center, are playing in the FIBA Under-19 World Junior Basketball Championships.

Friday morning, Team USA took on France winning 71-55.

White scored 9 points and grabbed 2 rebounds. Moultrie had 8 rebounds and 4 points.

The team advances to the second round, and stays atop of the Group B pool with one pool game remaining against Egypt Saturday, July 4th.
