STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) -- Mississippi State running back Anthony Dixon will play in Senior Bowl on Jan. 30 in Mobile, Ala.
Dixon rushed for 1,391 yards this season to lead the Southeastern Conference. A first team All-SEC selection, Dixon had eight 100-yard rushing games this season. His 252 yards rushing against Kentucky this year was a career high.
He ranks first in the SEC with 126.5 rushing yards per game, which is good enough for sixth in the nation.
Dixon is Mississippi State's all-time leading rusher with 3,994 yards.
He also owns school records for career attempts (910), rushing touchdowns (42) and single-season rushing yards (1,391 in 2009) and attempts (287 in 2007).
He also caught 56 passes for 449 yards and four touchdowns.
