Memphis, Tennessee – The Memphis Grizzlies waived guard Mike Taylor, Grizzlies General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Wallace announced.
Taylor, a 6-2, 165-pound guard, averaged 2.0 points and 2.3 assists in 8.3 minutes in six preseason games after signing with the Grizzlies as a free agent on Sept. 28. The 23-year-old posted 5.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 15.1 minutes in 51 games (five starts) as a rookie last season with the Los Angeles Clippers.
An updated preseason roster is attached. The current roster stands at 15 players.
