Tigers Football Head Coach Tommy West announced Monday starting running back Curtis Steele's injury is not season ending. Steele suffered a bone bruise to his left knee in Saturday’s game against Middle Tennessee early in the second quarter. After the injury he spent the remainder of the second half on the trainer’s table with his knee wrapped and the rest of the game on a crutch on the bench.

Steele’s injury to his left knee had no structural damage and he is expected to be out for two to three weeks.
