Mississippi State University’s Basketball team has a lot of expectations coming into this season after stunning a few teams in the SEC Tournament last year to gain the crown and make a run in the NCAA Tournament. Although they entered the season ranked in the top 25, they have higher expectations. One player in particular, has hopes of winning it all.

Dee Bost, the sophomore floor general for the Bulldogs says his team has the tools to not only make a run in the NCAA Tournament, but win the National Championship. “Yes, we can win a national championship,” Bost told the Sporting News. “We’re very deep and we’ve got a lot of weapons this year.” To help the team reach the goal, Bost plans on taking less shots, three pointers in particular. “I’m going to try not to take as many as I did last year,” said Bost.
