Two child care centers in Memphis are noted this week for excellence in a variety of areas.  They have been awarded two stars in the Tennessee 3-star rating system for child care centers.

Jazzy Family Child Care is noted for:
Teaching cultural awarenes among its students
Success in teaching language skills
Positive teaching methods for communication skills

Bartlett YWCA Child Care Center is noted for:
Development of communication skills
Lots of space for children during both playtime and learning activities
Excellent discipline and supervision

Tennessee's 3-Star rating system ranks child care facilities starting at zero up to three stars.  Zero stars indicate a facility meets state minimum requirements for operation; one, two, or three stars indicate a center exceeds minimum requirements.
