Re-Use Your Old Nylons

Nylon stocking, especially little girls get snagged and run almost as fast as you buy them - but I have some alternative uses for them so you don't have to throw them away.

A length of nylon stocking is the perfect tool for buffing your shoes to a shine. It's texture will lift imperfections from the surfaces and leave behind a flawless shine.

If you need to hang some laundry but you don't want clothespin marks or creases, thread the leg of a nylon stocking through the arms or belt loops and tie it off on either end, the stocking acts as a clothesline and leaves you with crease free, mark free laundry!

If you've already done your hair but you need to fix something on your face, cut a wide section of stockng and carefully pull it back over your hair, it's not so tight that it will interfere with your do but will leave your face clear to take care of what you need to!

If you're repotting houseplants, line the bottom of your pots with some nylon stockings, they will keep the soil inside and yet still allow the water to drain from the pot!
