Job Duties:
Sell and service local advertising agencies. Negotiate business based on industry ratings in order to maximize the station’s revenue and share within the parameters set by station management. Achieve revenue and share goals. Develop new advertiser by soliciting area businesses. Service clients to maintain positive working relationships. Resolve billing discrepancies and assist in collections of past due accounts. Supply Sales Manager with competitive information. Consistently monitor competitive media to continually prospect for new account leads. Adhere to minimum standards of performance as established by Local Sales Manager. Constantly look for ways to improve basic sales skills. Develop relationships with clients and media buyers. Conceive and execute written proposals. Straight commission provides your compensation.
