Supernatural: Season 4 - Episode 10

After the holidays, Supernatural comes back with a punch. This had it all. Sex with angels (or used to be one at least), Heaven and Hell fighting (hence the title), and another Bad Company song. Dean now has made love to two Bad Company songs, maybe that is a hint.

This episode starts off right where the last episode: I know What You Did Last Summer did. The angels are here for Anna. Anna knows a spell of how to get rid of the two angels.

The Winchester brothers hide Anna in Bobby’s panic room. They bring in the visionary from the first episode of the season. We find out the Anna was an angel and she was the boss of the Castiel and Uriel.

There was huge fight between the Angels and Demons. Castiel got his butt kicked by Alastair. Uriel lost Anna’s grace to Anna. Anna and Alastair disappear in a flash of light.

The episode ends with Dean confessing what he did in Hell to Sam. No wonder he didn’t want to talk about it.

Dean says “So what, you're just gonna take some divine bong hit, and shazam, you're Roma Downey?” Roma Downey starred as an angel in the series Touched by an Angel.

The image of the hand streaking down the foggy window is reminiscent of the scene from Titanic when Jack and Rose are having sex. Jensen who plays Dean once did an ad for Titanic-related merchandise.
