MEMPHIS, TN – Memphis police have identified a teenager who was shot and killed in a field behind an elementary school in Frayser.
According to investigators, 15-year-old Alex Bolar died from an apparent gunshot wound. His body went unidentified for almost 17 hours.
The shooting happened in a park behind Georgian Hills Elementary School in Frayser, Wednesday, November 4, 2009, around 5:15 p.m.
Police are still trying to figure out what led to the shooting. Investigators questioned kids at the scene about the incident.
Memphis police say there are no suspects at this time.
