MEMPHIS, TN – Memphis police say a 15-year-old boy was gunned down in South Memphis.
It happened in the 1200 block of Cannon, Sunday, October 11, 2009, around 8:30 p.m.
According to Memphis police spokesperson Karen Rudolph, when officers arrived at the scene, they found 15-year-old Christopher Hughes lying on the ground suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Rudolph says Hughes was taken to The MED in critical condition, where he later died.
Memphis police have not released any other information about this case saying, the investigation is ongoing.
