MEMPHIS, TN – Memphis police say one man is dead and another is in non-critical condition after a shooting that happened in North Memphis.
Memphis police spokesperson Karen Rudolph says officers were called to the 800 block of Crockett Place Monday morning, September 14, 2009, about a shooting.
Rudolph says two people were hit during the shooting. One victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced dead. The other victim was also taken to the hospital where he is listed in non-critical condition.
According to Rudolph, one person was arrested after a brief foot chase. No charges have been filed at this time and police have not released any other details bout this crime.
