Kevin Holmes joined Eyewitness News in July 2007.
Before coming to the city known for ribs, Kevin spent the last three years in the Vehicle City, working as a General Assignment Reporter for WJRT, the A-B-C affiliate in Flint, Michigan. He has also worked behind the scenes at WMAQ-TV in his hometown of Chicago.
Kevin completed his undergraduate work at Lake Forest College, where he studied Political Science and Communications.
Outside of work, Kevin is involved in various organizations such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters and the National Association of Black Journalists.
Kevin is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He and his terribly-trained dog, Sox, (named after the Chicago White Sox) look forward to exploring the food and fun times in Memphis.
